Francis, born in Alsace, and Andréa born in the north of Germany, discovered the Périgord in the 2000s while crossing this region during the holidays. Very quickly the magic took over and it became obvious to both that this would be the place where they would settle permanently.

Andréa, after having worked as an architect in northern Germany (Schleswig-Holstein) decided to move her activity to the Dordogne.

She is particularly fond of renovating and enlarging old buildings, always respecting the Perigordian codes and traditions.

Among her projects are the complete restoration of the Château du Mespoulet, a huge private residence with towers dating from the 11th century, restaurants, a park with 9 apartments, wellness center and indoor pool, municipal projects, as well as many main and secondary residences.

Francis is especially passionate about prehistoric art and established a workshop specializing in the reproduction of prehistoric cave paintings, which he directs today as artistic and operational director.

He produced the facsimile of Lascaux 3, the traveling exhibition, and the complete facsimile of Lascaux 4, on of the major sights of the region and of international renown.

At the same time, he also works as a painter and sculptor, working mainly in Carrara marble, bronze and with paintings inspired by the art of prehistoric painter.
